ACR is a South Florida-based independent, non-governmental organization founded in 2021. Our passion is providing the tools, know-how, and inspiration needed within underserved communities that lead to positive change.
Founded in 2020, the CMHWP II is an evidence-informed mental health program designed to assist individuals throughout Miami-Dade County navigate the myriad challenges in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. This multi-pronged, multi-generational, people-centric mental health and wellness program, using cultural, social, and linguistic competencies, will be implemented using evidence-based modalities and examining the social determinants of health that affect the mental health and wellness of Miami-Dade County residents using Mental Health & Wellness Scorecards, workshops, and symposiums to equip residents with pandemic and disaster coping skills.
The Teen Talk Dialogue Sessions Program addresses the social and emotional well-being of teens and young adults aged 14-21. The Program is designed to give teens the skills and information needed to embark on a path to health and wellness and establish a positive lifestyle. The Program uses evidence-based modules, including Open Relationship Building sessions with authority figures, including law enforcement officers, Yoga/mindfulness, Nutrition, and Etiquette sessions.
